The LEFT function will fail if the cell content is shorter than the formula. Example: =LEFT(V3,20) will fail if the text length in V3 is less than 20.
This style is fully acceptable in MS Excel and it would be very helpful if the functions had the exact same behaviour as MS Excel if possible.
